Many goals!

Valentine Dreamer Annika SlabyHey everybody! Summer is almost over… and time for ballet to start. Yay!! I have made a goal with myself that I would stretch every single day and everyday this month (August) I get a sticker on my calendar for a reward, but really, flexibility is the best reward. Plus, I am doing yoga and pilates every day. I do yoga to help my flexibility and pilates to strengthen my core. I am also trying to make my feet stronger by flexing and pointing my feet.

I can feel and see the differences, but I do NOT want to get tendonitis. That is when the muscle that connects your ankle to your hamstrings (it hurts a LOT!) especially when you pointe your foot really hard and you don’t stretch it out. So, I’m very determined to get very flexible and strong by the time ballet starts.
