My second summer attending the Ellison Ballet Summer Intensive in New York City was just as amazing, but in different ways. Last year it was all new and exciting. This year it was exciting, but I felt I had a much deeper experience. Maybe it’s just that I’m looking at things a whole lot differently than last year now that I’m into my senior year. I can definitely feel the stakes getting higher. The view of a future in the professional ballet world is coming into greater focus, which is both more daunting as well as inspiring!
I hope you enjoy my collection of weekly updates from the summer. I attended the four week general intensive, followed by the two week classical variations intensive. In these videos, I tried to give a more detailed picture of what this program is really like both technically and emotionally.
